Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

New 5k pb, although it was on tarmac. But felt great to run fast again after taking it steady for the last few months

One was quite vigorous, the other was a little bimble out to pick brambles to make fruit crumble for dinner :)

Decided I'd do Aberdeen's 100th parkrun within a long run (approx. 3.5 miles there, parkrun, 3.5 miles home). All ok until about half mile into parkrun, when I managed to fall over myself - grazed knee, bruises and bent-back finger = premature end to my plans! Still just under 6 miles done, but now need to fit in another long run before Crathes Half in 2 weeks...

Ouch, Wildcat! Hope you feel better soon (and that there weren't too many people watching...)

I did the Moray 10k today (I'd registered for the half but switched on Friday owing to some foot problems) and I got a pb, so I'm pretty happy about that. Don't think Paula Radcliffe will be checking over her shoulder for me coming but it's always good to feel like one is improving.

LSR - Starting out I felt sluggish and stiff, however once warmed up and rhythm found, was a good run. Ran my usual route out along country roads and back along the canal. I swear every time I do this route I see something new!! A pleasing 15 miles all round I must say.

14 slowish miles which were slightly less enjoyable for the hard running the legs did yesterday at the South Essex Fetch Mile, but that shortfall was more than made up for by the company of 2FlatFeet who was also suffering some stiffness.

Oohh err missus.
