Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Better than yesterday's. The DOMS has left my legs, though the bounce has yet to return.

Good - last long mid-weeker before taper :-) 14 miles along Thames to Millenium Bridge and then on to work: dodging all the commuters on the South Bank.

Anyone else notice how busy the streets were in London today? I quite liked it actually (despite my occasional commuter rage tripping over slooooowwwww walkers weaving across narrow pavement): the whole city out and about, streets had a really nice buzz.

One of my (less than active) colleagues was even saying that she'd never walked so far as in the last few days... and how inspired she was to keep it up... Might we have something to thank the RMT for after all??

Monthly hill work with Pock Runners last night...did 5 miles of steep hills...found it very hard going up (had a niggling pain and stiffness in left hip) but was great on the flat and going down.

Track intervals with the club last night. 9 x 600m reps @ 10K pace, which would normally be fine except for the fact that the pace was for a 41min 10K, and my PB is just under 45min. Surprisingly enough I managed to finish the full session, but it hurt, and my legs are like planks this morning.
