Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Terrible run today, only 5.6 miles and wanted to run 9.3 miles. Felt worn out after a quick 10K on Monday, think I should have rested today and ran tomorrow.

Slow. Hamstring still a bit tight, but better for the 4 day rest. Not much power, I lumbered along at a slower than usual 9:13mm pace. Nice sunny day so enjoyed the setting and run itself. But I am fretting a bit: have a half mara sunday - I want to go all out and try to PB but do not want to jeopardise what I have been training for, Leicester marathon Oct 14th.

totally carp, but it was 38 minutes of doing a forward running type motion.

The positives? Yes there was 3 - I wore my new fetch vest and loved it, HR was 'in the zone' of a plod and I saw another runner that wasn't Oldmum! :-)

Rubbish, four miles has never felt so tough. Still, I'm not injured any more and any run is a welcome one at the mo...

OK - 5km plod with some incline. Hot and sticky, but breezy (weird, I know)

Half an hour's very steady run on the treadmill at lunch time and a bit of strength training. Ok I suppose. :-)
