I have had three falls in a month whilst running (after probably two years without one). Today's was a definite toe poke of a loose paving slab. Not one hundred percent sure about the other two. Do you guys ever trip over? |

All the time. Tripped in todays race while chatting with another runner, fortunately in the grass, so no damage. Have fallen 3 times in 4 years of one race in the awkward tree section of an offroader and been very battered and bloodied as a result.

Trip at parkrun yesterday, just as a marshal told me to be careful down the hill!

Three times in the last year. Two tree roots and a perfectly smooth bit of tarmac (not a scooby how I did that one)

No. I just don't. I mean I'm injured at the moment so definitely not smug. I run on grass and pavements as well as track but I don't think I've tripped over in fifteen years and counting. Hope saying this doesn't mean I go arse over tit first thing out of the door tomorrow! |

Yep, I've bounced a few times. Surfaces from red dirt roads to smooth tarmac don't make a difference based on history. Mrs AT nearly refused to let me out during one particular period when I fell three times in a month. Luckily no serious injuries resulted, just cuts and scrapes. Not been over for a while now though....until the next time |

Nothing during a race but I have gone over on ice a few times during early morning winter training.

Yup, usually when tired and starting to shuffle rather than pick my feet up and run properly!
