Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Very hot
Far too hot for my liking.
Mr J
I suffered a lot with the heat. I started at sub 50 pace for the first 4km and then just hit the wall. Struggled back.
a.k.a Billy
Fairly satisfied with my run at one of my favourite short races.
first ever 10km not great timing just 3 days after my longest ever run a 33 miler !!

pleased to break 45 mins, not a distance i will rush to do again. lovely evening, a bit warm. got to meet AKA Billy & Sparkly Bridget for the first time plus Roger Biggs was in attendance. Flat course similar to many of our club runs.

136th overall of 385, official time 43.50.
Tim of MK

This was a total disaster! I'd been tired and dehydrated through the day, with a thumping headache. So, racing in sweltering temperatures in the evening was plain stupid. But then, I've never been well known for my common sense.

I knew long before half-distance that I was going to struggle if I didn't do something. So, from the fourth kilometre, went into 'survival' mode and took a thirty second walk at each km marker. It got me round. No more, no less.

I'm very, very farfrom impressed with myself!

(km splits - 4.52 / 4.47 / 4.55 / 5.01 / 5.06 5.06 / 5.09 / 5.00 / 5.01 / 4.44)
Bri Mill
Legs felt stiff and tight after Saturdays Bourton half
This was a warm one! I never sweated so much after a race. Thought I did quite well considering, 2 minutes away from a PB though. I need to try and speed up a bit earlier.
The funky monkey
30 degrees and sunny! very tough run.
