Agent Orange This is the official time. I actually ran a 1 second PB on the watch (1hr38min41secs). Perfect conditions and no wind for once. Ran an intelligent and well-paced race but after my recent cold just didn't have the stamina for the last mile and a half. First half in around 48.40 at fractionally under 7.30 a mile. Spent the whole race from mile 2 overtaking people. Obviously ran the second half in about 50 mins. There should be more to come with a bit better training! Big thanks to MOAT for most inspiring marshall :-)

Capricorn Perfect conditions - pb by 4 1/2 minutes so very pleased. Great race as always - small-ish field so no crowding, plenty of parking, good flat course.

MarkC Ran this strong and sensible today and got a much bigger PB than I expected. Very happy. Divided into 3 4-mile sections and aimed for 28-29 mins for each one. Just about had enough for a faster last mile but thanks ever so much to fellow Alchester runner Jason and an unknown Avon runner who both encouraged me to go for the line just as I was feeling like fading. Great event as always and on a lovely morning. Moat was a superbly encouraging marshall :) Great to see Alchester out in strength and winning lots of bling. Lovely to see Agent Orange and Peacey (who ran a total blinder) and nice to meet Dizzy Tart :) All in all a great day's racing.

Running Fish quite pleased with the time, but was probably a bit over cautious with the pacing, for fear of blowing up. felt pretty good at the end, although didnt really have the sensation that i could have upped the pace much, but maybe that was just cos i was on my own for the last few miles.
