About The Club
Compton Harriers Running Club is based in the heart of the Berkshire Downs in the quiet rural village of Compton. We cater for a range of standards and levels of participation and regularly enter a variety of races which include road, cross-country, trail, fell running and off-road relays. Many of our members run distances from 10k to 100k+, although some of our athletes are versatile enough to excel on the track over distances from 400m to 3000m. We welcome new members, no matter what standard, the emphasis being on enjoyment and personal achievement in a sociable group. Enjoy the benefits of keeping fit, meeting new people and discovering our beautiful countryside by attending one of our regular training sessionsOur Club has an average of around 20 members at any particular time and openly welcomes any interested athletes, runners or joggers to our small but lively group.
