Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ickle Chick, there is also the Pirie 10 at Farthing Wood. This is another individual race This is 2 x 5 mile and you have to finish the first lap in 45 mins. I am going to see how my 5 mile XC goes tomorrow and then enter if I will finish in the time. It gets dark during the second lap. From what I know, it is a lot of fun and you get cake at the end :-)

Doing Lincs XC League this year (1st one tomorrow but will be in middle of 20M run so not serious race) also some of the Frostbite League is XCish but more trail running than proper XC and the last one is a fast road course.

Possibly Southerns if at Parliament hill again

Got some waffles today! My first pair of spikes - I feel like a real runner now :)

They are a lot more cushioned than they look - a bit wierd they only have 4 spikes when all the other shoes seemed to have 6

Part of the reason why the new Waffles are raved about is because they only need four spikes as the rest of the sole is much grippier than other spikes. The new ones do seem more cushioned as well - a lot better than the 2006 versions. I want a pair...!
