I've often thought about doing Pirie 10 but never got around to it, I won't be doing it this time around either.

Priory Relays today. Some tough climbs but some fun down hill too. There were some very very speedy runners out today. The leaders run 6 min miles and look about 17!!! Very impressive. Where do they hide these people for the rest of the time. They seem to appear for XC!

Lincs league race 2- harlaxton. made the start on time today. not ideal prep as was demolishing kitchen ceiling until 40mins before start. too slow 1st mile but worked through well 18th of 84 and best ever lincs league position. v pleased. missing match 3 but possibly will run match 4 instead of frostbite~:)

Surrey League XC on the Thames H&H course on Wimbledon Common this Saturday. I'll be at the back given that this is Division 1 but it'll be good anyway. Not doing the Pirie 10 as I'm racing in Sheffield that weekend unfortunately. Think Herne Hill won it last year as well.

I did the first race of the Oxford Mail league on Sunday. I was very pleased to finish 4th in what's a very competitive women's field. Last year I remember being pleased as I averaged 7:10 miles, this year I ran it at close to 6 minute miles. What a year's training can do!

Boo came and ran as well and did remarkably well!

I was at the same event as Rach, finished 19th in the mens race. For me it is a bit of winters fun but I admit I was happy to finish so far up the field.

Hoping to do some races in theHampshire league as well this year.
