The leaders run 6 min miles and look about 17!!! Very impressive. Where do they hide these people for the rest of the time. They seem to appear for XC!
Marts Nov 2007 5:23pm, 4 Nov 2007 1,937 posts	Quote Pin Marts Lincs league race 2- harlaxton. made the start on time today. not ideal prep as was demolishing kitchen ceiling until 40mins before start. too slow 1st mile but worked through well 18th of 84 and best ever lincs league position. v pleased. missing match 3 but possibly will run match 4 instead of frostbite~:)

Not doing the Pirie 10 as I'm racing in Sheffield that weekend unfortunately. Think Herne Hill won it last year as well.

Last year I remember being pleased as I averaged 7:10 miles, this year I ran it at close to 6 minute miles. What a year's training can do! Boo came and ran as well and did remarkably well!

East Midlands league at Holme Pierrepont, the course is in the grassy lumps left when they built the rowing course much beloved of the Robin Hood Marathoners.
