Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Lasswade Open XC on Sun. It's gonna be a mud bath - been wet here for a couple of days and mild. And that course is boggy at the best of times. Yay! :-)G

I hadn't packed spikes as it isn't usually particularly wet there apart from one spot.

Good luck Timda!!

I had my first league race of the year on Sunday. Haven't been 100% healthwise recently, so idea was to jog in the pack and push if I felt good. Ended up finishing second (and nearly catching first!) and felt the best I ever have after a cross country race. Come to the conclusion that cycling definitely helps hill running!

Half Empty
After hating XC at school and doing all I could to get out of it I ran my first race in about 20 years on Sunday. Was more fun but more tiring than I remember. Didn't help that I only had some very worn down trail shoes so spent more energy trying to stay on my feet than going forward I think.
