a great day out at the intercounties XC at Nottingham today, some good races and a fair few fetchies. Rach E was i think 94th, but was tripped and spiked unfortunately. Gobi performed well given that he appeared to be running in a truss and was obviously a bit handicapped. nice to see Beejay, Snoo, Ian M, Heidi ,Trehis and Broken Compass.

Nice to see you Chrisity! Yes, I was pushed, fell and was then spiked for good measure so ran the second half of my race with my trademark blood down my legs. Rather knocked the stuffing out of me and probably cost me about 15 places, but I was pleased with my highest ever finish and I do love the Intercounties - you just don't get that standard in any other race. I was first home for Berkshire, beat all the Oxfordshire people (I ran for Oxfordshire last year) and all but one of my nemises. Everyone just runs so fast...!
Love Wollaton Park though - it's such a great cross country course.

It was a lovely day. Great to see you Chrisity and everyone else. Fetchies were out in force today. Well done Rach, hope your leg is ok and heals swiftly.
