Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Tom even running around it tomorrow probably won't give you too much idea just how much it'll cut up. Courses that look ok can quickly cut up with big fields and several races.

True, I suppose I'll see how wet it is now. Run on it every week so it'll give a rough idea how bad it is compared to normal. It has been very wet here and the ground is still sodden from the snow and ice melting. Much wetter than before the London and SEAA Inter Counties in November when the course held up ok.

It's going to be pretty muddy and will cut up a fair bit of the mens race after the otehr races have gone through, longer spikes recommended I think.

I'm off to buy 15s at lunchtime! Looking forward to one last hurrah on the country before getting back to the roads. Bring on the mud.

Ant Bliss has put some useful maps onto Sussex Sport Photography's Facebook site of the route for the XC Champs at Parliament Hill this weekend, if you're interested (thanks Ant).

Anyone doing the UK Intercounties in Nottingham on 7 March? It's become a bit of an annual excursion now and I am officially a "county tart".
