Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yes it was in Lloyd Park BooBoo.

Now Wokingham's been cancelled too, my weekend of racing has all fallen apart, sob! :(

That's crap Tiger. Totally crap. However - you really want good conditions for Wokee. A bit of rain - but not ice. It's a mighty fine and fast course and they have to obviously think of the safety and all that jazz.

As for the XC being cancelled - well that's just unforgiveable.

You are right of course BooBoo, Wokee is a great course but there will be other races, it's a shame for the organisers I bet they are devastated with all their hard work, but on public roads it would have been a safety issue and I expect the police had a say in cancelling it.

I am not happy about the XC though either! It's all grass (well, mud) at Lloyd Park. Can't be any worse there than what we coped with on Farthing Downs in January.

Or what people had to run through at Hillingdon - the Southerns were the WORST XC I have ever seen...Did you do it Tiger - or did you wisely stay away? I had to drop out after 3k (ladies ran 8k) cos i had just about had enough by then!!! LOL

Actually Tiger - that's a very good point. Farthing Downs was quite slippery and very icy in parts...

It was! I had my new Mizuno spikes on I got for Christmas and they gripped fabulously on the ice, I was going to give them another outing on Saturday, they are still looking a bit too pristine for my liking!

I missed the pleasure of doing Hillingdon, sounds like it was incredible!
