Rach I raced it, after racing two miles to the start and from a lap (the short first one) behind :O. I didn't finish last though :-). Would have loved to be in the thick of it, but thats my fault for cutting it too fine with the time.
I shall XC all winter next year won't be tapering for them though.

I did the Worcestershire ones today, same thing, ground was solid with frost on top which made it slippy no matter what type of shoe you wore. My aim (being relatively new to XC running) was not to come last(!), and counted at least 6 or 7 people coming in after I had finished. It was sooo cold, just kept running about cheering the men on after our race to keep warm, well done Rach and everyone else who ran, good luck those running tomorrow.
