that's bad luck Rossage - tell your teacher that we have fields in Nottinghamshire as well actually Wollaton Park has excellent museums, one natural history and one industrial, as well as the 16th C hall and gardens. well worth a school trip.

Will be nice to see you there, Chrisity. I have a front-of-the-pen start this year and I am very excited.
Rossage, I think it's more of a duty to your school to run at the intercounties than go on a geography field trip! I know a lot about the natural landscape of Notts and will gladly help you with an essay so you can attend :¬)
Well done to your club, MX.

4 indivdual top ten places at the standard of the races today is impressive stuff, congratulations to your team.
The standard was hugely impressive at the Nationals yesterday and the speed of those at the front was incredible, 38 minutes for 12k over that course - it's pretty amazing, on the second lap the mud was past shin deep.

i will be at intercounties as spectator and official 3rd leics sub - i need an injury crisis which I wouldn't wish on anyone to get into the team. yesterday to compound things i beat 4 of the 9 of our county starters well done to charnwood ladies yesterday-pride of leics.. and a former club mate, gemma, got her gold.
tc-the mud was unbelievable but what a great race and atmosphere. Came 156th with 44mins so a happy chappy. to xc fans I recommend doing a national at least once.
mxh-well done norwich

Ally2 - fantastic performance well done. Parliament Hill is my local club run and it was amazing to see it transformed. As you say the atmosphere was pretty amazing, watching the top juniors and senior women finish was incredible, the standard of some of these atheletes. I cam roughly 500th - 550th I think out of 1400, happy enough with that!

Did you see me have a little vom on the line tom??!! LOL! IT was an amazing day - well done all. I can't get over how those top athletes can run so fast over that knobbly and muddy ground and not twist their ankles!!!

It was good, has to be one of the toughest XC courses I've done to date, the mud was something else. And sunshine... I might have even got a tan. Worth doing once at least just for the experience. Was, as expected, in the last 1/4 of the field myself but I would congratulate anyone who ran that course yesterday
