Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done on the 10 km Runamock! I did a 10 km yesterday and was hoping for a sub 40 but it had a few hills near the end that slowed me down. 40:17 wasn't bad though, and I'm now starting to increase the mileage again which wil bring benefits I'm sure.

It seems to be my belief and Ultra Hamster has reinforced it for me nicely . Dont think it works for everyone and you have to watch out for getting too tired .

Timed 10km run tonight at my club. Aimed at a 40 min 10km and completed it in 40:06. Felt like I was running with a dead leg at one point but managed to shake that off mid way through the run. Useful session to blow away cobwebs from Sunday and prepare for next 10km race this Sunday. Am off training the OH tomorrow before LR on Thu and Sat at easy pace.

10 miles tonight, very slow. It's all gonna be slow this week as it's a 60 mile week! Week after next is another 60, but with some quicker bits in it. Eeep! :-)G

BS - just get stuck into your core work and weights. Bikes are expensive! Good luck for Longford!!

Don't suppose anyone can recommend some cheap weights to buy? I was looking at dumbells and a bar with vinyl york weights as the chrome ones are a bit more expensive and once you buy a bench.... Think I may be a liability using the bar on my own without someone to grab it when I get the shakes...
