Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Waited until this evening, then jaunt over to local field, spied thru fence to look at fishing lake to show friend where it was. Still quite warm out at 18.30. Might drag my carcass out tomorrow early 06.00ish as gotta be out in the day. Nice weekend folks ;)

I got up at 6am to eat some porridge and be out by 7am to beat the heat.

It was already nicely warming up at 7am and with the sun in my face made it all the more interesting. The hills started in after 2.5 miles, of which some defeated me, but at least I have that in the run and have some hill training.

Happy with my run this morning....but now my legs hurt a bit, especially after yesterday's volleyball and tennis playing.

Nine miles this morning, very hot and the hills seemed to get bigger the further I went. Done this run before and had no problems - think the sun played his mental tricks on me!! Slow time but miles in the tank :-)

11 very warm miles , very slow but very happy i've got them in the bank now , felt pretty good when i finished i think the gym work maybe finally starting to pay off , running in the heat reminded me of the 2009 Edinburgh Marathon diving for the shade whenever possible that was one tough day .
