Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cheeky 5k in the hail around work last night, not a bad time considering there are lots of hills and I hate hillwork.

today's run was mostly calm and fairly slow. Round the village, across the fields and river, cattle and flowers in the fields, the grass is getting longer and the nettles taller. At one point I concentrated on the dog too much and didn't see the root I subsequently tripped over. weather conditions just could not be any better :-)

Does getting rat-arsed for the first time in years, and dancing like a knob in a bar for 3 hours, surrounded by my students and many of my friends' children constitute a work-out? Just wondering because I've a 10-12k scheduled on my half-marathon "tapering" and I'm not quite sure I can handle it...

Yay! I can really put that in?! I dance like a dad at a Scottish wedding (I drank about the same quantity of whisky too.)
