Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

ran my first half marathon! I've never even gone a training run farther than 15 or 16k so I'm very pleased with my tired little self :)

Gentle 8 miles. Fell over at 5 miles after tripping on some gravel around a pothole (well, was looking left a closed gate whilst running and my left toes decided to stub themselves on something whilst my right ones didn't and I lost balance). Sore hip now and some bruising on my back but did finish my run after getting up straightaway.
Stepping up the mileage next week as 6-8 miles a time isn't enough really.

A lovely 7 miler in the morning sun. Will have to put the long tights away now and get the capri's out, as it's warming up out there. :-)

I don't know how far I did but I had a lovely little 45-ish minute run along footpaths, across fields, looking down to the sparkling sea :-)
Nice and warm outside, no pressure (time or distance) just enjoyable and what it's all about
