6 mile wibble at lunchtime. Was only going to do 4 as I'm OW swimming this evening, but boss wanted to go further - who am I to argue?

Odoriferous. Which was nice when it was gorse and the back of the Asda bakery, but less nice when it was dog shit and motorbike fart.

Not going out today, resting my hip as it's still b*stard hurting after the weekend. Hoping to go for a gentle one on Thursday.

Lovely! Ran 2.5 miles with my 9 year old, then another 3 miles with Husbando. 9 year old and I chat away about the day, then bit of a smack down with Husbando as we are both a bit competitive!

Nice one mad ![]() Did a (slightly muggy and humid) 5 and a bit miles, pretty solid 8:30-ish pace with a nice (once it had finished) lung-bursting effort up the hill to home ![]() |

I've just done a v long run for me 16k round the fjörd. It is glorious here and since I just finished a big project for work, I'm on the skive. I'm hoping to attempt a half marathon next Saturday so no more long runs till the (actually 16k is the furthest I've ever gone!). It was all, indeed, wonderful, til an Arctic tern, presumably nesting, tried to have my head off. Divebombing seabirds are scary. Do not laugh. (My mum's neighbour had to get stitches after a seagull attack.) |
