Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

7.4 @ 8.31 pace, yet felt really hard.

It was my first run since doing 5.6 @ 8.09 pace on Wednesday, yet the quicker run was done whilst carrying 2.5lb velcro sandbaggy weights in each hand? And that run felt comfy?
Strange...

Miserable, knew after 2.5miles it was going to be horribly hard work (no idea why!) but carried on for 8.5 miles doing the main bit of the Alton 10 route. Posted about it on Facebook and it seems that lots of people hate that route, but I've always liked it! Not too hilly, lots of lovely views - it is where I learnt to run! Hardest bit, on race day, is running past my front door at just over 9 miles!

Quick hill session today. Very enjoyable and it was nice to have someone stop by and say I should join the local running club (I look like a real runner!). Shame I'm moving soon and can't.

- Bit tired after the weekend's races and overate a bit yesterday so perhaps to be expected.
