Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Bloody hard work. The road back from surgery is a long one that is covered in the lard acquired whilst sat on my arse post-surgery.

I was requested to make my day a bit easier by my coach because of the intense work I've been doing lately..

So I decided to an interval session of:
5 minutes warm up
1 minute surge
2 minutes recovery
2 minute surge
2 minutes recovery
3 minutes surge
2 minutes recovery
4 minutes surge
2 minutes recovery
3 minutes surge
2 minutes recovery
2 minutes surge
2 minute recovery
1 minute surge

5 minutes warm down
--------------------------
6.8 miles @ 44 minutes.

Wasn't too bad - was more of a cardiovascular workout.. so feel quite recovered now. My training resumes as normal from tomorrow!

My first attempt at running home from my new job. I got a bit lost trying to find the canal in the dark so I ended up running 9.4 miles, an extra mile or so than intended.

the theory was good, but the practice was hard. 10 miles on and off the course of the Long Mynd Valleys race, ffs one did feel jolly tired at the end. Doing a bit of navigation, trying to find better routes, all to be in the back half of the field. Lol.
