4.1 miles @ 7:09 pace
I usually do 6 miles on a Thursday but as I have races on Saturday and Sunday, I just cut it down to 4 - also I am very stiff today from strides on Tuesday which is a bit concerning.. however hopefully that will go by this weekend; I have 50 hours to recover.
I wanted 7:15 pace today which I was on track for until I rolled out a 6:55 ultimate mile. I couldn't find a breathing pattern either today.. and was a little tired. But felt decent so am not too concerned. My neuroma and any injury didn't play up today and my cold has officially gone.

First day back at work - ran there and back. Not as bad as expected, considering I hadn't seen 06:30 in the morning for a couple of weeks. Nice clear run too.

5 mile recovery effort after hill repeats yesterday. Aiming for 8 min miles, but my legs were feeling surprisingly good, so actually managed sub 7.30 average. Felt good though, and it was a beautiful day to be running by the Thames.

15.5 miles. The choice of road shoes made the very muddy trails hard work though.

I've completely run out of free newspaper and will have to pop out and buy the Guardian as my shoes are soaking still and urgently need stuffing.
