Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Very slow, legs aching, body really not in the mood for it. But once we were on the top of the Longmynd the views were truely amazing. i had to stop to look around for a good while. From Pole bank the whole of the west mids was covered in fog, and so was much of Wales, just a few hills poking out, Stiperstones, Cae Caradoc, The Berwyns and a few Arans, truely beautiful and it improved my mood :-)

Weird. Freezing fog in the area so most cars were going in slow motion. Made for an odd atmosphere. Not unpleasant though after the first ten minutes and my hands had warmed up.

5 miles home from work. The middle section was through some foggy fields in the frost. That was the best bit.

Cold, damp, slippy underfoot, fog condensed on my eyelashes. Only did 3 miles but it should be enough to keep the glooms at bay for a couple of days.

8 tonight and like HB I noticed a distinct lack of motorised traffic and a distinct slowing down of what there was which made for a rather stress-free and pleasant time.

Beautiful long run on the Lincolnshire wolds. Started in bright sunshine then the mist appeared making it look very atmospheric followed by brilliant sunshineagain and a fantatic sunset. Nice and crispy underfoot, winter at it's best. Was a bit cold tho:)

5 miles with my club, plus the run there and back, to make up a little over 10 miles. Quite misty and slightly slippery underfoot at times. Went via a running buddy's shop which was wonderfully decorated with nice lights and vintage stuff like a doll's house, train set and Rupert annual.
