Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Visiting the in-laws, so took advantage of the nearby track. 15x200m intervals in the sunshine- felt great.

Finished off with a gentle 8.xx miles once again bringing my total to a tad under 54 miles for the week. Did intend to get up at 5-6am, run 15 or so miles but woke up, felt tired and couldn't be ar*ed but went out later anyway and felt comfortable - seemed to be gliding along quite a bit rather than forcing myself.
Too many cars out though - running around back roads to avoid traffic although encountering blind bends and constantly changing sides of the road, running around milk floats etc.

No other runners again. Nice day so they won't come out.

Need to sort my food intake out now. Sure I'm burning off more calories than I'm consuming. Looking leaner but whether that's down to increaed mileage or cutting back on white bread (one or two of those New York cinnamen/raisen bagels a day now) I don't know. My stomach always flattens and gets tighter hen I eat less white bread although I tend to compensate by eating all and sundry, the sundry being crap.

Nice and steady with the black hound (she was exceptionally well behaved through quite a bit of livestock), testing out my new OMM classic 32 rucksac, lol, steady pace, anticipated a slower pace, and was right. Weather almost perfect, no one about, mint :-)
