11.86 miles for me around Central London - should have done more though. Ran from Marlborough House at the end of St. James St, around Trafalgar Sq, down Whitehall, across Westminster Bridge, past the London Eye, various pubs, the OXO Tower, HMS Belfast, through a tube station or two, up the steps onto Tower Bridge, across that, past the Tower of London, along the marathon route, around ST. Pauls Cathedral, around a bit, onto the embankment, back onto Westminster Bridge, down Whitehall, around Whitehall, down to Birdcage Walk and ran along the marathon route all the way down it, arounds the Victoria Memorial at Buck House and as far as I could get down the Mall - not far enough to cross the finish line. as it was barried off about 200+ yards away THen back to the start. Even managed it in a faster time than usual although not 100% sure how my Garmin managed with running under bridges, through tunnels etc and I did stop for 30s on Whitehall to ask where Buckingham Palace was.

1.5 hours in the sun with a clubmate. I got us lost as per usual but we ended up having a lovely long run beside the river as a result.

Mostly cracking, crops and set aside mostlyl cut short, making for easier running. Some overgrown paths (nettles, bah). Weather mostly good, if a bit breezy. The route is just cracking looking over the hills and valleys. Some nice steady climbs, andsome nice descents. A little bit muddy in places.

A pretty unremarkable, harder work than it should have been, 5k time trial sprung on us by our Coach.

The usual 8.xx miles / 1hr+. Got up and it starting to rain a little so stayed in bed until it eased off. Got changed, opened the front door and it suddenly got reasonably heavy but went out anyway. Lovely cool rain for the first few minutes until it eased off into warm rain before stopping. One other runner out and about.
Going to step up the mileage from tomorrow as I really don't think I'm doing enough.

Quality. 2 x 3 x 800m. Tough but satisfying.
