Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

my run yesterday went very well, however, afterwards went swimming and got into the pool and realised after a MINUTE i'd left my Garmin (forerunner 305) on my wrist and unfortunately water got into the inner parts and now it doesn't work, i tried the usual stuff sticking it in the airing cupboard, on my radiator and then over night recharged it and guess what IT STILL NOT WORKING so rang up Garmin and they can do a exchange for £51.00 so thats what i've done and i tell you all I WONT BE DOING THAT Again in a HURRY.

WHAT TWIT I AM and need one for my 1st race on the 10th april

Ghastly. Set out for long run of 20m and after only about 10 or 11 miles completely ran out of gas. Unable to explain it - just had not the energy to put one foot in front of the other and had to walk most of the second half. Did 19m on long run last weekend and happily did a couple of 6m and a 10m during the week, so completely unexpected. Too much water? Not enough rest between runs?

Highest ever WAVA in a 'proper' race - happy ;-) Especially on tired legs after a good block of training.
