I found an old mate who I hadn't seen in 10 years right after the finish so I stood chatting for 20 mintues or so while I stiffened up. That's the risk of running in your old home town, I guess. The 3 hours in the car to get home could be fun.;-)

Aside from inhaling some sort of bug, stunning. I found a new xc route and it was absolutly beautiful. I think someone forgot to tell the weather that it is meant to be winter though. Couldn't see a single cloud in the sky the entire time I was out.

Swindon HM in 2:20 ( Our 119 th HM Together )
So today was the weather different, was it just, what a truly scintillating day we had at Swindon HM, which we clocked 2:20...
A real nice course I thought, yes teasing and undulating in places, but it was good, very ,very enjoyable, … Organisation I thought from what I saw was absolute top notch, … the HQ, the start and finish area , the whole lot was spot on ….out on the course itself, marshals and everyone were very nice, very supportive, and for the nature of the course and the weather of course, there spectators were good and plenty…
In my book the organisers should feel proud of themselves, I travel all over to loads of events, and this was good…
The organisers fore warned me of steep down hill bits, … ( for running with the wheelchair ) well ok for some the course might be classed as that , but for myself this never materialised, we have run far, far tougher courses, far steeper up and down…
The race itself, once I got going , I really didn’t have my mind on things much, I was happy and relaxed, just ran it TBH, we were at 4 miles before I really knew it, as next week we have Abingdon FM, our 42nd FM together, and today was just about getting a nice few miles in and having fun …
Just so happy tonight after today, actually surprised we clocked 2:20, I thought it may have been slower… Mets lots of peeps , all very kind and supportive, …Everything today just was great, I cannot quite believe it myself …
So, lets prepare for Abingdon shall we, well actually I mean lets just wait
