Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

4 pints of Guiness, 2 vodka and diet cokes and an oven pizza at 2am last night did not bode well for my lunchtime tread on the mill. Frankly, it hurt. But to my credit, I decided that I should punish myself for last night's infliction and equaled my longest lunchtime run for the past 3 months. 4 miles in 30 minutes spurred on by The Darkness - I Believe In a Thing Called Love to guide me home. Punishment never felt so good! :-)

Drove 10 mins to the old railway line, grey n drizzly out, but 3 fellow runners enduring it too. 1 mile warm up at 6.5 mph then 700M of 30 second sprints (I think theyre called strides where you start fast and get faster to near full out), well a few of them with deathshuffles inbetween, then jogged back at about 5-6 mph. Great to have the give of the gravel underfeet. Back changed at my desk within the hour. Nice.
