Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

5.2 miles at quite a canter for me - in self-referencing terms. Strong breeze driving the breakers onshore; Antony Gormley's 'Iron Men' once again resisting the forces of nature :)

Rather good. Professor Brian Cox joined me for a while. And Frank and Dave ran the last mile or 2 with me.

Had a go at doing some intervals tonight, imagine my excitement when looking at the chart in Garmin TC to see no appreciable difference in pace :)

Quite chuffed with it. Definitely a "CBA to GID" (to coin a genius phrase from cavalryman's blog today, check it ;) )

Anyways, aye. Just a gentle warm up and few 1km repeats to waken the legs up a bit and should hopefully be just right to set me up well for Friday night's 10k.

We shall see. But for now it's fitba and a cheeky beer. Can't believe the germans are 0-0 up already!

It was awesome; I thought it was about 10 k but mapped it out to be only 8 k. It was VERY hot though and my plan to plunge in the river was not as pleasant as anticipated as mosquitoes flew at me in vee formation...pretty sure they had a recon guy in a black hawk.
