Oh, and did anyone catch the Ryder Cup? I had tears in my eyes when Darren Clarke won his match. What a guy.
(A bit off topic, I know!)

Just 8 miles today. Last 'longish' run before the GNR next Sunday. Went well considering!

Some fab runs from peeps today. I'm not long in from my 3 miles which I really enjoyed. Am getting the hang of keeping the HR down. My daughter is going to help me with my max HR next week when I am down her way. Not sure I am looking forward to it.

turned up for Blott's mate's race today, 10 minutes late, for some strange reason thought it started at 11. Went back home to sulk, really gutted. has anybody else ever done that? I felt really daft and skulked off before anyone could see ( was wearing my fetch vest too , the shame!) went for a 12 mile run instead as needed to keep up the training for felixstowe half marathon.

I have turned up with a whole team of school kids for a cross country race that wasn't happening until the following week. Thankfully I hadn't organised the team so on that occasion it was not my mistake (although it is something I am very likely to do).

Did 12 this morning. Currently in Hanoi in Vietnam. It is hot and sticky, so very slow. The traffic is a nightmare. Back soon
