Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I love running in the rain. There's something about the sheer insanity of it that appeals to my nature. Watching all the people cooped up warm and dry in their cars, staring at you as if they're about to call for the medics and the strait jacket...

I look at it that I am only getting a vest and shorts wet whereas they are getting coats, hats, jumpers, shirts etc soaked.

Rained on Friday - superb. Did 2 10ks in the boiling hot summer sun earlier in the year. Would have been VERY different story if it had rained.

LOVE RAIN!

Yeah I like the rain too but not driving rain with strong wind. Come to think of it, don't really like running in strong wind particularly racing

Rain is great for a training run but i blame the cold pouring rain at the massed start of the Glasgow Half for my injury - it was just sooo cold and really not possible to get/stay warm in the start pen.

But on a training run when you can ease into it and also slow down on the mud then it's great :)

Like Blackers though, hate the wind and horizontal driving rain which unfortunatley is the kind we mostly get up here!

Sometimes rain is good, but I only really like it if it starts when I'm already up and running. Very hard to persuade myself out into rain, I find. Quite a painful 5 miles today, have been really out of running recently, time to get back in the groove!

Nice easy 12 miles today, which were thoroughly enjoyed, and I got in just before the rain started!
