That's amazing Blott's Mate.
My LSR went ok for the first 10 miles. The last six I felt a bit tired - I could tell because my HR started to climb so I took it steady to keep it low. Heidi had a good 10 miles then waited for me in the car.
Hendo, you aren't on yer own mate, I feel a bit below par too ... You'll be fine, just get some rest
Well done LL
Riga, brill result that! You'll do sub 60 easy next time
Su, sounds lovely, I love deer. Stuff like that reminds me of why I run. The scenery up Derwent today was lovely too :-), No deer but loads of ducks and sheep

Well done LL Well Done Riga In fact, well done everyone who got out there and ran
The last few days I have felt really drained of energy and wasn't sure whether I would be up to running the Windsor half marathon today, especially as I had to cycle 10 miles there and 10 miles back after the race. Even this morning I still felt very tired, but at least I felt that I could do the race.
I finished in about 1:37:50 (need to wait for official results with chip timing). My legs felt really tired, but apart from that I felt really comfortable, and the best thing of all - 13.1 miles seemed so SHORT!!
The weather was fantastic and I had a great time. Unfortunately didn't get to see any other Fetchies, though.

Oh, and the second best thing - I have made it back on to page 3 in the training league at long last.

Well done LL, great going
1st proper run in several months, coming back from injury, 5 miles round and round and round the footy fields.
Heel doesn't feel too bad at all really, tomorrow will tell though.
Looks like I'm well and truly off the injured step !! :):)

I'm so used to cycling that I hardly consider it exercise for me - and I don't mean that to sound arrogant or anything like that. I once cycled 14 miles to Burnham and got a pb in the Burnham half, which is not an easy course. I also usually cycle 10 miles to the Maidenhead 10 and find that it helps me run much faster. When I cycle to a race, I do it at a very easy pace and it helps me warm up much better.

Wow - look at you lot!! Sounds like a good weekend all round.
Riga - well done on the PB. You've got that 60mins in our sights - go get it LL - are you sure that was steam not smoke?!
Just done a recovery 4 miles after yesterday's 20m. Turned into a bit of an interval session, with some full on sprinting. Not sure how that happened, but got some funny looks as people were packing up their picnics on Clapham Common!
Right - off to see the GF. She's pretty p!ssed off with me for not being around much. Wish me luck! If you don't here from me tomorrow she's probably pummelled me!
