A pleasant run in the bush tracks but I've already finished my Sunday morning run!

An uphill 8 miles this evening (about 1000ft of up, on quiet roads). Hard work but also pleasant. Nice sunset too.

Hot (too hot for me)...Goole Riverbank Challenge (8.75M)...despite the heat and narrow pathways (probably lost around 2-3 minutes waiting for places to pass people) I managed to complete this in 69:45 (give or take 2 sec either way). Enjoyed the last mile where we ran on roads. I was able to pick off several other runners and run a 7:03m/m... :o)

A hot 8-miler with the other half. Very gentle pace for me - nice.

Wow! It's 14 years since I last ran that Goole event. Lovely warm day and the last race I did before moving to Liverpool from Wakefield. Before the 8.73, there was a 15-mile version of this for a couple of years which was good fun if you like running on one contour.
9 miles by the Mersey Estuary and Irish Sea for me, taking in Crosby Marina, Coastguard Station at Burbo Bank and the Sefton Coastal Path. Returned via dunes by W. Lancs Golf Course and off road past Crosby Baths. Glorious weather, not too hot but enough for a runner's tan

Thistle.
Was very warm, felt good first half - struggled a bit in middle then picked it up at end. 9.8 miles and finished with what felt like - a ton of flies stuck to me!
