Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Did my longest ever run today - 13.5 miles, building upon a 11.5 last weekend, but just taking it up past the HM distance. Both in 7.58mm pace. Slightly sore calves now, but see if I'm up to a recovery run tomorrow...

Dreadful. I went out for 20, but in the first mile I managed to lose both a six-ounce water bottle from my fuel belt and one of the only two Gu gels I brought with me. I was short on sleep and felt horrible generally.

I managed to get to 11 miles before I started in on the 18 ounces of water I didn't lose. I took the gel at 14.25 and it helped immensely for a short while. I threw up in my mouth a little at 17.5 and decided to go home, so that made for 18.5 total.

Here's hoping that tomorrow will be better.

10 miles yesterday, my longest outdoor run yet. Haven't had much sleep lately and it was hard for the first few miles but broke through it to have a great run. 670feet climbed, had to have that hill!

I only ran 12.4 miles this morning it should have been 7 miles further but had to improvise as heel still isn't up it. I was pushing running for as long in shoes I was wearing. Oh well I'll have to do a bit more this evening.
