Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A bit of a 'Tale of two runs' really.

Lunchtime, an interval session. God that's hard bliddy work isn't it? Now I remember why I'm so light on interval runs generally.

Later, a cheeky 3 mile recovery run.

Still way down on weekly (and anticipated monthly mileage). Was shocked to find myself on pg 50+ of the 'training league' already.

Hey ho. Nice weekend Fetch Everyones

Well thats much better!! I went out at 9am (missed work) and avoided the ice and the darkness... but still not the rain... but as Mr Loaf once said "2 out of 3 aint bad". So with better running conditions I managed my longest run since October - 16.5 miles in 2h 15m. I feel like I've just been shunted back onto those long-haul rails...

3 miles on the old cycle machine and then 7 miles trail and road, 50/50, the trail bit was fairly hard, boggy in places deep puddles and horse crap in others. Came back covered in mud but my dog loved it, if I had a tail I'd've wagged it too but then he gets a rub down with a warm towel and a Boneo all I got was "daft bugger".

Fairly leisurely X-training cycle ride for 11.5 miles (first time on a bike for 10 years). Tired my knees out, but hopefully they should be ok for my long run tomorrow.
