Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

8 miles the week before the marathon and legs felt really strong, the times were faster than expected because I was just travelling faster than it felt, did the 8 miles in just under an hour and that was with 4 easy run miles in it

5k tempo run at BPTT

Actually, I tell a lie - I tried to race this but I guess my legs are still tired from Berlin Marathon last week.

Came home in 20:05 which is about a minute slower than what I was aiming for :)

10K tempo run ready for Cardiff next week. If it had been a race I would have taken 5 minutes off my 10K PB!! My goodness it hurt though. I might be worth a small bet for Cardiff next week.

A nice early morning run to (& around) The City of Manchester Stadium & Regional Athletcis Arena via Manchester cycleway and Canal then back via Gorton and Belle Vue.
Despite shoulder pain, stitch, coughing up more green stuff than an american bank machine and stopping 3 times to adjust my foot support I loved this run.

My last LSR before The Cardiff Half Marathon (---> Good luck Solitude Fairy!).

Most enjoyable run since I had to stop running!

A lovely autumn 7.2 miles mostly through woods and park. No pain, just a comfortable fatigue after doing 4 and a half yesterday. I am (touch wood) staying free of injury for the first time in a long time.
