A bit achey. I think down to both pairs of trainers being shagged. Bought new pair.

Club night tonight. 30 mins of fartleks on the track. Never done this type of training with the club before and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Legs are nicely aching now.

I'm back - my first 10k race this evening (with Puffing Bertie for the first bit - she's a speed freak now!) since February following injury after injury - I was slow, but I did it and I don't hurt. I feel like a proper runner again. Sob with joy.:-) I am now on a modest high!

First fartlek since some time in the dim and distant past last year. Loved it. Just a short one at 15 minutes with a mile warm up either side of that on another beautiful Edinburgh evening. Only downside is the number of flies I'm swallowing running in the evening at this time of year!
