About this parkrunFlat and fast, out and back course with a loop at the far end. Along the sea-front, can be windy and normally a head wind on the way back. Definitely PB potential if not windy.
K5 Gus 8th Jan 2019
Pancake flat out and back run, but feels a bit relentless as almost inevitably wind in one of the directions. Easy parking, road shoes and remember the 9:30 start if you don't live in Scotland!

Out and back course like a lollipop, flat, busy, but thins out quickly. Can be windy on the way back.
Ally-C 23rd Mar 2019
Flat and fast, hope for a lack of wind (unlikely)

Run down the handle of the frying pan, round the pan, and back up the handle. Pancake flat Nice views of the sea, and good parking nearby.

If you get a day with no wind, then hello PB! Otherwise, be prepared to struggle.

Regularly pulls in 600, occasionally 700 runners so this isn’t for those who like solitude. Along the promenade beside the Forth. Out and back. Very flat but exposed so can be windy. On a calm day you’ll not get a faster course Several cafe options

Great event this and great conditions today.Usually Hate running races down at Crammond but it seems to make all the difference running the other way at the start . Is staged at the nicest part as well and extremely well organised (and clever l) no faffing about with numbers ect , just turn up line up and offf you go...race itself was set in excellent conditions and no a puff of wind at all. Not run over this distance for some time so very pleased to almost beat my PB and somehow managed to hit it bang on, always a little wierd when you manage to do this (only happened to me twice and I do a lot races!!) . should have flung myself at the line !! will hopefully try and squeeze a few of these in over the winter as very good fun and atmosphere
10th overall and my fastest parkrun so far.
first time I have done a parkrun and really enjoyed it , weather great after last few days added bonus
Good weather conditions today. Times coming down. Well chuffed.
A second slower this week but it felt much harder.
My clubmate Neil Robbins caught me with 100m to go.
