_andy Great to put so many avatars to faces and meet lots of Fetchies in the real world. Ran what sensibly and was within a few seconds of what the computer race predictor reckoned I'd do based on my longer race times. Llamadance didn't want to be beaten at the line and he's a true gent to call it a dead heat; I think he might have edged it but we're still waiting on the photo. A big thank you for the Fetch home baking - wow! Had to do an extra long cool-down run to work that off. Kinross Road Runners 5:32 5:43 5:45 5:43 68.16
awatson2 Like a lot of the runners i have never ran a single mile, really looking forward to the day and trying to put faces to names , and if i could get 6mins or under, well happy days. Falkirk Victoria Harriers 5:40 5:58 6:00 5:58 71.95
Baza Not run a track mile in a while now, but after a terrible 5K at Beveridge Park I'm going to be up for this... I'm leaving from Rosyth at about 9:15/9:30 due to the road works at Kincardine, if anyone wants a lift through from here, Fmail me. *Update* Brilliant day, thanks to Llama for the organising, and great to meet lots more fetchies. Enjoyed my run even if Andy boxed me in for the first 250 or so :-) looking forward to the next one already Carnegie Harriers 5:04 5:23 5:30 5:23 70.61
bedlam_g Great day out reasonably happy with my time, well beaten by Bodo 1st and Baza 2nd. Although I could claim I was actually saving myself for the 100m and the long jump :p Bellahouston Road Runners, Cumbernauld AAC, Kilmarnock Harriers & AC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 5:14 5:16 5:15 5:26 71.71

ClaireT My first mile race, so a PB was guaranteed! Good fun running on the track and meeting up with Fetchies, some new faces today. Victoria Park - City of Glasgow AC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 5:22 5:41 5:35 5:41 74.27
dd Predictor says 9 mins which I'm not in any way confident about so a nice round 10 mins it is :) Update: 8.40! well pleased with that. V tough keeping going at that speed and slowed down a good bit towards the end. But never dreamed I'd get under 9mins :) Afterwards felt dizzy & sick. Well at least I know I tried. Well done to everyone today some impressive times & yummy cakes :) Unaffiliated 8:33 8:33 10:00 8:40 49.49
Dvorak Astonished. On the day, expected to be outside target, so dropped to the 'C' race. And therefore recorded my one and only victory! (I know, I know). A very strange feeling to be at the front. Thanks to Llamadace, our Phantom timer, and great to see everyone. Hope everyone else enjoyed it. Unaffiliated 6:49 6:49 7:24 7:07 57.19

HappyG(rrr) Never done a timed mile before. But to be honest, just want to meet famous sb and om. Will only attend if my shiny new fetch vest turns up before the big day! * Well that was brilliant! Loved the running, the people, the pics and the craic!* Harmeny AC, Kinross Road Runners 5:19 5:30 6:45 5:57 66.43
IanS Top day out, brilliantly organised again by Llamadance. Somehow ended up as pacemaker in the second race, with Grrr and RLeyton going steaming past me on the last lap to claim the glory but good fun nonetheless :-) Harmeny AC 5:56 6:10 6:10 6:10 66.99
iceblue Delighted to get just under 7 mins today. Felt good and enjoyed running on a track for the first time. Great day out and enjoyed meeting everyone today. Cambuslang Harriers, Campbeltown Running Club 6:14 6:59 7:15 6:59 60.95

JulesR Super Fetch Sports Day, lots of fun. Led off then settled down to a sensible pace. Hid behind Clare for 2 laps then pushed the last, but Bedlam was in the distance and not coming back. Pleased with the time although 15 secs down on last time, not at all bad given lack of any speed/trackwork this year.

Well done Llamadance for organising and everyone who made it there today. Stirling Triathlon Club 5:17 5:25 5:45 5:32 75.80
Llamadance great day, I love these races. Ran a far more sensible race than last time and managed a sprint finish. Dead heat with _andy. Loved watching my kids run as well, they had a a cracking time too. Unaffiliated 5:43 5:43 5:45 5:43 68.64

rleyton Wooo! Really pleased with that. First time at that specific distance, so just figured I'd treat it like the first bit of a 5k and perhaps up the pace depending on how I felt. Pleased to have had a bit left to manage to grab 2nd in the group. Bellahouston Road Runners 6:03 6:09 6:30 6:09 62.57
The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Very pleased with time. Recent training suggested that I was so far off target. I even feel there is a bit more there and maybe a second or two for the wind as well. Was pulled along by the hares in front. Judging by my ranking points I should consider moving down distance probably to about 40 metres, but as witnessed by the 100m my quads would not stand up to that. Ride 63 5:54 5:54 6:00 5:54 67.97
Ultracat windy down the finishing straight, I am sure thats where the extra 1 second came from:) nice to meet some many lovely fetchies. Metro Aberdeen 8:01 8:01 8:00 8:01 60.84
