The relentless number of 'real life' tv shows about people living in Alaska, or digging for gold in Australia, or driving trucks through Canada... they are so formulaic that they might as well show the same episode each time.

Gordon: they had one in Greenland, called "Ice Cold Gold" in which some intrepid explorers went into the wilderness to look for gemstones.

Except they were literally 5km from Nuuk, on a popular hiking trail, looking down over Nuuk Fjörd. Their main challenge was getting the shots without any boats in the background.

Rain! I know we need it desperately it I’m off to Cornwall tomorrow for a week and there’s a higher than 50% forecast of rain for virtually all the time we’re down there 🙁

I can concur. We arrived early afternoon and have had three seasons of weather since we arrived. (No snow…… yet!)
