We are at parliament hill next week! Time to crack out the 12m/ms spikes :)

Great Esher race yesterday - not too muddy but technically difficult as lots of steep ups and downs and gates and bridges and ditches to get across. It was good fun :)

Pretty much swam round the course at Park Hall near Stoke yesterday. I enjoyed it, but have the same "rain in face" grimace in every photo. Proper "weather"!

Great ndellar :) I love the swimming courses! Post a pic up for us to see then...

We had 6kish on parliament hill for London XC champs. The London Youth games ho on before so its great to see kids from 8 to 16 loving the XC and churning the course up for us ;)

Delayed start due was a bit annoying in the driving rain and cold but most of our runners really enjoyed the course. I wasn't feeling too hot but still managed a good 15secs a mile quicker than last year so actually I think that is a good run. I am struggling uphill recently which is my usual forte... We are doing plenty of hills in training but I seem to have lost some omph and not sure how to get it back! I also stayed up for the first time ever :) 3-1 to the hill on falls now ;)

We had mulled wine and cake afterwards :) Its a great social course for us as members have to go on public transport and so can stay for a drink or two! Not looking forward to cleaning my spikes though.

Have fun GH and chunky!

Were are at Polesdon Lacey for South of Thames 5 next Sat which is our first 5 miler xc of the year. 1 mile downhill start means 1mile uphill finish. Mmmmm.

That sounds great Curly, wish I could have joined you all. Was it a good turnout for the club?

Picture does not do the amount of water justice, it was foul. (I'm the in the red & white vest in the lead)

I think I had a good run, it conjures up some sort of spirit against adversity also known as "I want this over asap"
