Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sounds pants Gobi - they should have at least sent you over the fences ;-)

Meanwhile the Manchester XC league were enjoying 3 laps of Boggart Hole Clough - and I can report that this was close to the XC ideals

shocking indeed, made worse by the fact that I was going to do the Richmond South of the Thames race but child care issues put paid to it.

Oh and the Scotland game

went to sort out our XC course for next week, could have run it in slippers. still a couple of days of rain since and a cyclo-cross over the same ground the day before should help.

Last Saturday's Met League at Wormwood Scrubs was a bit of an uninspiring course but was interesting as there was plenty of room to pass / get passed.

This Saturday is Ellis Trophy Dysart cup - I'm looing forward to this as it will be the first chance I've had to race people from the Surrey League

I'm looking forward to the Dysart Cup on Saturday - Kieren, you'll love racing all the Ranelagh's and Stragglers :) I'll be taking it easy though and am still to decide whether to wear spikes or not...David's are still stuffed with paper from Saturday they were so wet!

north midlands XC at Berry Hill, Mansfield. one of my favourite courses, beautiful bit of woodland at the bottom with leaf litter everywhere, and a nice variety of slopes.
