Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Looking forward to the Scottish East District XC championships up in Aberdeen this weekend. Reckon it could be a tough windy and wet one and no idea what the course is like but that just all adds to the anticipation! Making a weekend of it up there for a bit of Christmas shopping too and no doubt a few jars on sat night so should be a good weekend.

I also ran in the X-talons (195s) on pavements in snow/ice last year, very good.

Had a good run at Northampton (Birmingham League) last week, consensus was it is a hard course, in reality it wasn't too bad just quite undulating. It was very dry underfoot and quite easy to run on. Somehow it did feel more up than down though esp on the last lap!

However, it is Leek the final fixture in the N Staffs league tomorrow, which contains the mother of all hills and is traditionally freeeezing! *shivers*

Looking forward to Aberdeen as well. It's a long day out, but the club is putting a bus on for us so at least no driving to worry about as well :)

Cofton indeed ndellar, was ill, thought I was better, but wasn't. Pulled out after 10 mins as had no leg, but then jogged round with a teammate that pulled out at the same spot

Final damage was 246 out of 254, ghastly business.

Look like the freezing weather has arrived just in time for you ;-)
