Looks horrid SPR :L - Died a painful death yesterday it was not pleasant lol 25 m knee high water crossing then straight up the biggest hill in the whole league (twice!) 10th place off 35+ mile weeks though and no anaerobic work hope to be pushing places next month or at least the next one. Anyone going to commit to nationals this year, I've never done parliament hill (luckily) so may give it a shot! |

oi you
Hi Alex, I'll be at Parliament Hill for the Nationals. We did the Southern Champs there in Feb on a 15km route, so 12k at the Nationals will be a doddle, right? There's an event for it already, just counted 7 signed up for it here http://www.fetcheveryone.com/viewracedetails.php?id=61021 - assuming that works. |

I'll be doing the National again next year. Parliament Hill was my first National XC in 2009. I liked the course actually. Alton Towers this year did have the fun factor though!

Don't think I've heard the word "doodle" and parliament hill in the same sentence before haha I will be in the U17 junior race so will have to make my own event but it's going to he a tough one! Especially with inter-counties / English schools xc not far either side :/ |

Looks like my spikes died yesterday. The sockets for the pins moved rather than the pins bending on the small concrete area we had ![]() Will try and see if I can move them back into place when I've cleaned them, otherwise I shall be making another purchase. |

Anyone XCing this weekend? I'm heading to Livingston for the 2nd East District League race on Sunday. I'm currently sitting third in the club XC GP after 2 races! Think that might change as the season goes on right enough ![]() |

I am a XC duffer but I like trying. Our local 'non-district level' series has only recently opened up the longer distance to the women (see Binks' thread) but I'll probably be sticking to the 3 mile distance to try and improve my time. First one this Sunday, then last sunday of jan and feb. It's nice to have something open to all levels. I wouldn't dare show up to any district stuff ![]() |
