I don't know anything about Leadsom to really comment. I think I'm more worried about the yanks next president ;)

I find it amazing, The Tories, via Cameron, have managed to take us out of Europe, and then elect a leader (probably) who thinks we should have stayed in, what a mess.

There should, if not, must, be a general election as we have the current situation where the majority of the voting population may not agree with it's leader.

As I said, what a mess. What a fine mess.

I forgot to say, at least we have our country back and we can make our own decisions.

I'm not wishing Cameron back. He's just a spiv. But it comes to something if you've got someone who worked in investment banking being touted as the candidate with real-world experience, even taking out the Walter Mitty allegations.

I can imagine Theresa May having what it takes to boss people around and get things done. That's some sort of a start.

May at least looks competent and is probably best placed to steer us to the most likely (and preferred) destination given where we are now: a nominal 'out' of the EU but with much of the flavour of 'In' retained, maybe as some sort of associate member status.

This is what could happen once the nutters on 'our' and 'their' side (the old drunk Juncker) are sidelined, the posturing stops and both parties get round the table to make the best of the situation.
