Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

One could argue, taking Tony Blair as an example, that a prime minister who has children will be motivated to line their own nest rather than ensure that other people's children have a positive future ahead of them.

Blair's daughter allegedly tried to kill herself in the latter half of his time at PM (there was a massive injunction I believe). Apparently she was getting shit at school over Iraq

(I may have misremembered this)

What's the point of having candidates publish their tax returns? It would be far more interesting if they published their correspondence with any offshore tax havens.

I read today that Leadsom doesn't believe in feminism as she isn't a man-hater. Less and less credible with each passing news story.

Yes, that was in her infamous Times interview. She also wouldn't participate in the silly quick-fire Q&A these Saturday interviews have as a little rider to the main interview. She answered 'both' to several ('Continuity or change? 'Both') but at 'Jamie or Delia' she said she wouldn't answer any more of the questions as they were 'divisive'. Trivial or irrelevant perhaps, but if that's her idea of divisive has she *any* clue how divisive the Brexit result has been?

I'm sure naive isn't the correct word, but the inability to appreciate the consequences of what she says or does unnerves me immensely. I would rather have a calculating fiend, than a useful idiot.

Theresa May will be PM by the end of the day it seems after Leadsom pulled out. Or does that mean Gove gets to run against her?
