Oh, here's a good one. I managed to lose my car keys in a dementia unit the other day :) (I was a visitor, not a resident, although....)

All the residents who were able were up looking for my keys, although naturally they kept forgetting what they were looking for. ("I've found it! - oh, what was it again?")

*puts own name on waiting list*

We once drove all the way to Edinburgh airport, arrived in plenty of time and went to park in long stay car park, only to find OH have not put his suitcase in the boot of the car. First day of holiday was spent buying him new clothes.

More on coffee

Stovetop espresso pot. Put water in the bottom, put the middle bit in, put coffee in it, screw top on.

How many times has the coffee has gone straight into the water without me putting the middle bit in there first?...

Oh, and there was the time where I got the coffee in the right place but hadn't put any water in and destroyed the whole thing.

I'm always putting things in a "safe place" so that I don't lose them. When I actually remember where that s@dding safe place is I'm going to find a lot of important stuff!!
