Garfield Dec 2020 1:59pm, 29 Dec 2020 14,754 posts	0 Garfield A couple of weeks ago, I saw cherry trees in bloom...they will get a bit of a shock. Our camellia has had buds on it for sometime...the flowers don't usually appear til late February as a rule.

Maybe I should have put my calla in the greenhouse before now. (I put it in a pot in the soil to make it easier to lift when I planted it in early summer.) But it was flowering until a couple of days ago, until the first hard frost. It's also now sitting in a rather waterlogged garden, since there was nowhere for the melting snow to go on top of the several nights of rain. Hey ho. My onion sets in the raised beds are shooting nicely!
Dvorak Dec 2020 7:42pm, 29 Dec 2020 21,655 posts	0 Dvorak Plenty of shoots of daffodils and blue/whitebells showing over the last week, primroses flowering also and an outside-but-sheltered azalea in a pot is in bloom. A couple of begonias and a chrysanthemum have not quite given up the ghost yet. And a marigold popped out a tiny flower.
