Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
Marginally disappointed with 51.30 for Felsted but, before the race I'd have been happy with sub-52 given my lack of pace, extra weight and the heat, but having gone thro' half-way relatively comfortably at 25 mins I was hoping to be faster. Marginally tougher course than I'd expected altho' doubt I'd have noticed it if we'd had the weather we had last weekend. Still that's the way the cookie crumbles!!!!

Great to meet up with both Fetchies and Forumites. Most I've ever seen at a local race!!

9.4 miles. Longets run since injury. Hamstrings a little tender after running with all the work kit on during the 6 am run today, so eased off the pace. Think I was doing about 7:30 mm's. The aching seemed to go from the legs during the last mile and a bit :)

Nice one Ian. II went for an early run today, rather than wait until noon, but it was already 31 degrees. Did 11 miles along the canal, very pleasant with an occasional breeze.

Awful 5 km around the village - nothing felt good at all. Legs heavy, breathing laboured, pace slow... Yuk!
